We would like to wish all of our families a blessed Triduum. I encourage your family to spend extra time in prayer, attend Triduum services, and finish your fasting and almsgiving with perseverance as we walk with Christ’s passion, death, and resurrection during these most solemn days. Reminder that, along with school being out for Good Friday, we will be closed as well on the Monday following Easter.
Most students will return to class on Tuesday, April 7, except for PreK and Kindergarten Classes. They will be out Tuesday as well, so we can welcome the next group of Sacred Heart students at our Kindergarten Round-Up that morning from 8:30-10:00. What an exciting time for some of our new families to be taking their first steps in our Sacred Heart Community.
Our second graders are also preparing for their First Communions by going on retreat next Wednesday. Please keep them in your intentions as they continue to prepare to receive our Lord in the most Blessed Sacrament.
Needless to say, our week did not end as planned. With a water main break ending school early. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility in getting students safely out of the building. We do not have word from the city on how long their repairs will take, but we shall keep you all updated on their progress and whether it will affect our return on Tuesday.
