Scott Home & School is pleased to host the Fall Classroom Parties the afternoon of Friday, October 30th and is in need of parent volunteers to supervise the parties.

All classrooms are in need of volunteers and substitutes. The substitutes will be called if a volunteer has to cancel (which happens often!) Spots are still available!

Sign-ups should consist of one (1) family member only to allow more families to participate. Younger siblings cannot be brought into the building during the party per District 203 guidelines.

All volunteers must bring a state-issued photo ID to be checked in at the front office. If you are new to Scott School this school year and have not had your Driver's License scanned yet, we would love you to stop in the office with your ID any time prior to October 30.

Parent volunteers may begin checking-in at 1:20 pm. Fall Class Parties will take place in the classroom from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. The Schoolwide Parade will take place from 2:00 pm to 2:15pm.

Parent volunteers will be asked to leave the building without their students at 2:00 pm to allow students to partake in the schoolwide parade and then return to the classroom to pack up and exit the building at normal dismissal. If parents need to take their student out of the building early, they must sign their students out at the office following the normal early dismissal procedure.

Please use this LINK to sign-up. Thank you for your support and helping make these parties happen!

Honoring Our Veterans - Photo and Assembly and Volunteering

Scott Elementary School is proud to honor past and present members of the United States Armed Forces who are part of our Scott School family.

We invite each Scott School family to participate by submitting a photo of the veteran(s) in your family taken during their time of military service. These photos will be proudly displayed throughout our school for all to see and appreciate.

Important: If you have already submitted a photo in the past, there’s no need to send it again.

How to Submit a Photo:

Fill out the RSVP and

  • Scan and email your photo to hruppenthal@naperville203.org

  • Send the original photo to school. We will return all originals to your student.

Veterans Day Assemblies

We will hold two Veterans Day assemblies on Wednesday, November 11th:

  • Kindergarten - 2nd grade: 8:45 AM – 9:30 AM

  • 3rd - 5th grade: 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM

Veterans Day Reception

We will host a reception from 9:30 - 10:00 AM to celebrate and thank our veterans. There is only one reception for the school that falls in between the two assemblies.

RSVP to the Veterans Day Assembly by Nov. 4

We are so excited to share that we are going to be teaming up with Ally and B Photography to provide you with a chance to get timeless, black-and-white portraits done of your children, right here in town!

Sign up for a 5-minute time slot on Saturday, November 14th with just a $25 retainer. This retainer saves your 5-minute spot and gets you one edited, digital image of your choice.

After your session, you will receive your full gallery from the photographer and have the option to upgrade for $25 per image or $125 for your full gallery.

These are great gifts for the holidays, not to mention to display on your walls. A portion of the proceeds of this event will support our school community.

There are a limited number of spots available, so don’t delay! All time slots and more information can be found here.

Thank you for your support!
