As you may have heard, there will be a solar eclipse on Monday, April 8. Due to safety reasons for our students, we will conduct recess indoors on this date.
Some individuals have inquired about purchasing specific sunglasses for this event so students could watch this. However, the safety and reliability of some of these sunglasses are not guaranteed and as such, we will not be having outdoor activities on this day.
We will be celebrating the day with different activities of the staff's choosing to engage the students in this event safely indoors.
Get ready! The Scholastic Bogo (buy one get one) Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. AND—as always—every purchase at the Fair benefits our school.

Parents: Please attend our Parent Information Session around "Addressing Cyberbullying & Unwise Social Media Use". Attendees will leave encouraged, empowered and equipped with an increased ability to promote safe and responsible participation in cyberspace among the youth they care for, and with numerous resources to assist them toward those ends.

Attendance Incentive Going Strong
Every day that your child arrives to school on time they will receive an "Attendance Ticket." Students can get a ticket every day during the week. Then every week on Friday, we will pull three names from each grade level to earn a special reward.
Please help your child earn an "Attendance Ticket" by having them come to school ready and on time.
Please review the map below. It is important to remember not to park in the staff parking lots during arrival and dismissal times. It is also important to remember that students should not be walking to a car on Donna Lane or Hawthorne Avenue. Please help us keep our students safe and our line moving.
We have noticed that students are bringing many items, such as toys, to school. These items should be kept at home unless your child's class is having a celebration.
There has also been several students using their phones while in school. Phones should be in your child's backpack until they have left school for the day.
