Updates and Information

Please read below for some updates and some important reminders:

  • Return to hybrid instruction on Thursday February 4th:

    • Health and safety is, of course, our main priority. If your child has any symptoms or close contacts, presumed positives etc. PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILD HOME. As we work through these challenging times, please be reminded that we are asking that you share any information regarding illnesses, COVID-19, testing for COVID-19, test results, close contact information, and any out-of-state travel to the school nurse. Thank you for working with us to keep our school community safe and healthy. Our school nurse's information is kristen.goddeyne@ebnet.org.
    • As a reminder, both social distancing AND mask wearing must be in effect at all times. There are no exceptions for any people at any time for this, adult, and student alike. The health department says that snack should be for less than 15 minutes with as much social distancing as possible.
  • Student device problems? ... ALL issues should be emailed to parentsupport@ebnet.org it’s best if the family does the email, but if there are communication issues, you can also do it on their behalf.

February Fun!

The Great Kindness Challenge!!!

February 8th - 11th is Kindness Week at Warnsdorfer Elementary School. Kindness Week is a positive school climate initiative that is hosted in schools throughout the district and around the country each year. During Kindness Week, all Warnsdorfer students will participate in various learning experiences focused on encouraging and spreading kindness throughout our school, homes, and community. Some of the activities that are planned include Kindness Week lessons, a school-wide kindness challenge photo project, and a PTA sponsored social justice assembly.

Thank you in advance for helping us create a culture of kindness.

Sincerely,

The Warnsdorfer Climate/Safety Committee

Valentine's Day

Classroom teachers will share any plans for Valentine's Day. However, exchanging of Valentine's cards, stickers, etc. will not be allowed this year. I know, another sad result of our current situation.
