Lutherville Lab Report
What's gone down & what's coming up at the leopards' lair.
October 3, 2025
Lutherville Families,
It's been a wonderful two weeks at The Lab! We are in full swing and your children are working hard and having a great time here at school. This week we welcomed Mrs. Kirkpatrick to 3rd grade and are so please with our students navigating the transition smoothly and supportive parents to welcome her into our Lutherville Family!
Our staff has also been planning a great Fall Family Night coming up on Tuesday October 14th! We will have a host of wonderful activities from face-painting to collaborative murals, to scavenger hunts, to environmental science, to estimation challenges, make-and-takes, a recorder performance and more! The anchoring event is our Cultural Fair, which will be from 6:00 - 7:00 in the gym. We cannot wait to celebrate the diversity that makes our school so special. If you are interested in sharing your family's cultural roots, please email smccomb@bcps.org and we will get you setup and supported!
Please read on in a full Lab Report! There is so much going on and to celebrate. Don't miss out on some great community happenings and exciting opportunities through the PTA.

Fall Family Night and Cultural Fair
We are planning for another wonderful Fall Family Night coming up on October 14th. A beloved tradition and centerpiece of that event is the annual Cultural Fair! At the fair, families are able to host a table and share some elements of their families culture of their choosing. Over the years this has ranged from games, to food, to pictures, to clothing, to language/writing, to music, to instruments, to perfumes. What is most important is the opportunity for members of our school family to connect and learn from one another as we celebrate the rich diversity of our school.
This year, we are targeting that fair for 6:00 - 7:00 to allow participating families the opportunity to enjoy other offerings of Fall Family Night prior to and following the Cultural Fair.
Our partners at the PTA are collecting interest from families. Please contact luthervillelabpta@gmail.com to share interest or pose questions.
