A Message from Mrs. Belcher:
Stewart families,
Thank you for all of the donations to our CISD Coats for Kids Drive. Our community is always so generous and supportive!
We are looking forward to our students celebrating our Veterans on November 11th. There are several ways students can be involved. Be sure to read below for all the details!
Recently, we have noticed drivers in our car rider line on their devices. To keep our children safe, to keep our line running efficiently, and to abide by the law, please refrain from using any devices while in the car rider line (even if the car rider line is at a stop). We have noticed drivers looking down at their devices and then looking up and driving quickly to catch up to the line. This could cause an accident. We appreciate your attentiveness to this matter as we keep our students as safe as possible.
School attendance directly correlates to student success! Please make every effort to have your child at school each day, on time, and for the full duration of the school day. Instruction begins at 7:55 a.m. If your student is not inside the building by 7:55 a.m., please park, walk your child inside, and sign your child in for the day. Please do not drop your child off in front of the school after 7:55 a.m. as this is a safety concern. As a friendly reminder, students must be present at least 90% of the school year. Missed instructional minutes due to tardies or early dismissals add up to missed instructional days. Our instructional day goes goes from 7:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Please see our attendance policy linked as a button at the bottom of this newsletter for more information. Thank you for partnering with us to maximize our instructional day and to help your student grow!
Have a great week,
Kristen Belcher, Principal

Leaving early or coming in late equals missed instructional time and opportunity. Let's help our students build great attendance habits!

From Library Services:
Conroe ISD Library Services has enabled checkout notifications, so you know the title of the books your student checked out. These notifications will be sent on days when your student checks out a book from the school library and will only be sent for the initial checkout. Daily notifications will no longer occur for the entire time a book is checked out to a student. State law and board policy do not allow an opt-out option for these notifications. If you have a question or concern about your student’s reading material, please contact our campus librarian, Ann Shafer.
