Exploring Executive Functions
Executive function and self-regulation skills act like an air traffic control system in the brain, helping us manage information, make decisions, and plan ahead. We need these skills at every stage of life, and while no one is born with them, we are all born with the ability to develop these and other key skills. This training will provide participants with an opportunity to develop an understanding of each of the executive functions, their impact on school performance and strategies to provide instruction for lagging skills in each area.
Behavior Coach Services
The behavior coach services are tailored to the individual needs of general or special education teachers aiming to increase the positive classroom behavioral supports within their setting and/or requesting guidance with a particular student displaying challenging behaviors. Assistance includes aiding staff in implementing and monitoring behavior supports using evidence-based strategies and fostering positive classroom management techniques.
