Cougar Roar 2026-2027

Cougar family,

Welcome back, students, families, and staff! I hope Fall Break gave everyone time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with the people they love. It is great to have our hallways full again.

We have about six weeks left in the semester, and the November break is only a few weeks away. This is the stretch where finishing strong matters most. Lock in, stay focused, turn in your work, and ask for help when you need it. The effort you put in now will show up in your final grades, so make these weeks count.

We are so proud of our fall athletes for the hard work, dedication, and school spirit they bring to every game and competition. Please continue to support our cheerleaders and football team this week. Come out, cheer loudly, and show them what Cougar pride looks like!

To our seniors, enjoy your Senior Week! Take part in the activities, celebrate with your classmates, and make memories that will last. This only happens once in a lifetime, so soak up every moment.

Let’s make this a great week and a strong finish to the semester!

Go Cougars! 🐾

October is National Principals Month, and we want to take a moment to celebrate our very own Mrs. McAdams!

Thank you for the laughs, songs, countless hours, difficult decisions, encouraging words, and behind-the-scenes work you give to Alexander High School each day. Leadership is not always easy, and much of what you do happens long before the school day begins and continues well after everyone has gone home.

We appreciate your commitment to our students, your support of our teachers and staff, and the pride you have in our Cougar community. Whether you are cheering from the sidelines, visiting classrooms, supporting a student, or helping our staff navigate another busy day, your presence and leadership matter.

During National Principals Month, we simply want to say thank you. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are grateful to have you leading our Cougar Family!

With appreciation,
Your Alexander High School Family
