As it continues to get colder, consider adjusting your student’s arrival time to align closer to 8:20 entry time and encourage your students to dress appropriately for the weather to protect themselves from the elements.

Student Spotlight
The 2026 TMEA All-State results are in, and I’m proud to report that Lebanon Trail has officially earned the highest number of All-State musicians in the entire district. Out of the 59 students selected from across all of FISD, 10 of them are Trail Blazers. This means LTHS accounts for nearly 17% of the total district success, placing us firmly at the top of the leaderboard. Congratulations to our Fine Arts Students & Directors.
Congratulations to our Fine Arts Students; Shiloh, Shiva and Wesley for earning a spot in the TMEA All-State Band! This is the highest accomplishment an individual musician in the state of Texas can achieve. These students will perform with the All-State Ensembles at the TMEA Clinic & Convention in San Antonio in February. Way to go Trail Blazers.
Congratulations to Faith. She has earned a place in the prestigious Texas All-State Choir, an honor reserved for the top 2.9% of Texas students after a rigorous audition. This is the culmination of hard work, passion, and musical excellence.
Congratulations to Rick Zhao for being named a Texas All-State Choir Alternate!
Earning a spot at this level means Faith and Rick are among the elite vocalists in Texas. The discipline and dedication required to reach the final stage of the TMEA audition process is incredible, and we couldn't be more proud of his achievement.
Congratulations to our All-State Orchestra students- Charlize, Anna, Jimin, Justin, Claire and Andrew. We are so very proud of them.
Lebanon Trail High School is proud to celebrate Emily Burdett, whose PTA Reflection’s Visual Arts entry, “The Feeling of Belonging,” has advanced to State! Emily is the first LTHS student in school history to advance to the State competition, which is an incredible milestone for our campus. Each year, only one high school student per category is selected to represent their district at the State level across six categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Emily’s artwork will proudly represent Frisco ISD in the Visual Arts category. This year’s theme, “I Belong,” inspired students to explore ideas of connection, identity, and community through creative expression. With nearly 60,000 students participating nationwide and less than 3% advancing to the Texas PTA level, Emily’s achievement is truly outstanding and we wish her the best at State!
Lebanon Trail High School is proud to celebrate Tanvi Kadaba, whose artwork has been selected for the distinguished Statewide 2025–2026 Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) Youth Art Month Exhibition.
Tanvi’s artwork, “United We Stand,” advanced through a competitive, multi-level jury process. After being selected as one of Frisco ISD’s top eight district submissions from across the district, then her artwork was chosen at the State Level, where only 100 student artworks from across Texas are selected for this elite exhibition. (FISD had two students' artwork selected!)
As a result of this outstanding accomplishment, Tanvi’s artwork will be displayed at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin throughout the month of March 2026 in celebration of Texas Youth Art Month (YAM). Tanvi will also be invited to attend the official state awards ceremony later that month.
This achievement highlights Tanvi’s exceptional creativity, dedication, and artistic talent. We are incredibly proud of her hard work and her representation of Lebanon Trail High School and Frisco ISD on a statewide platform.
Congratulations to all the students who represented LT at the DECA District Competition. Their hard work, professionalism, and dedication truly showed. A special congratulations to the 64 students who advanced to the State Competition in February. Special shout out to Harika Y. for winning D7 Vice President and our DECA President Aneesh C. for being a DECA Scholarship Finalist.

Every year, this picture captures more than just faces and bodies, but instead it captures possibilities. You can almost see it in their smiles - pride, anticipation and the first moment that it sinks in and becomes real- senior year is here. Here on the Trail, we are so proud of how far they have come and even more excited for where they are headed next! The future is calling, and the LT class of 2026 is ready to answer.

EOY Vacation Scheduling
Every instructional day counts. Unlike in recent years, student grades and assessments will now be collected through the very last week of school. The final instructional day of the 2025-2026 school year is on May 22, 2026. We know that families often plan trips in advance, but please avoid scheduling family travel before that date, as absences can affect learning and final grades.
You can review the 2025-2026 academic calendar here. Thank you for helping your student finish the year strong!
Staff Shout Outs
We encourage you to use this form to nominate a teacher or staff member who you believe deserves special recognition for their contributions. I look forward to sharing your “Staff Shout Outs” with the LT staff.
