Team Bylaws

With our team being this new, it occurred to us that we never developed and adopted a set of bylaws, which are necessary for us to be recognized as an official club here at LNHS.

This is now resolved.

Thank you to Cindy Thompson for all her help in helping drafting the document. The members (active students) all voted, and the bylaws were adopted as of 2/3/2025. They are on file with the school and posted on our website.

GROUP ME- Text Message Group For Parents

A few parents indicated in the last poll that they would like to have a group text option to communicate (which will come in very handy during Competition weeks).

The preferred method appeared to be GROUP ME

Great news on the Sponsorship Side

Congratulations to Aidan P. again for bringing us yet another sponsor.

This time Aidan brought in WACHTER (Technology Integration Experts) as GOLD level Sponsors ($2500)

This is fantastic News. WAY TO GO AIDAN

And please, keep up the good work:

  • Template letter for anyone wanting to reach out to potential donors.
  • use in combination with our pamphlet. (or this simplified version )
  • Check THIS DOCUMENT for an updated list of sponsors who have already been contacted, & who have already donated

NOTE: Coach Klug will provide us with a Finance update next Newsletter; but for now, we can tell you that we are somewhat OK until the competition in Kansas City at the end of March (provided we don't incur too many more purchases for the robot and competition needs); However, if the team were to qualify for World, we would be short at this time. So, if we could continue with the sponsorships quest, we would greatly appreciate it.

LIBERTY ROBOTICS FOUNDATION LIBERTY ROBOTICS FOUNDATION

open_in_new zoom_out_map

The Liberty Robotics Foundation is still looking to fill a vacacy on their board (Vice-President).

This would be perfect for a parent of a Freshmen or Sophomore looking to be more involved with the Robotics programs all around Liberty

As a reminder, the Foundation supports both our program and LHS's program. They have been a big help to us so far.

Feel free to ask Kim Steiger more details if you have any question, as she has served on the board for several years.
