Principal Duckworth's Notes

This week, Monday through Wednesday, we will be having Parent - Teacher Conferences from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please make sure that you know what time you are scheduled for your conferences. If you do not know what time you are scheduled to meet with a teacher, please call the office and Ms. Cindy can provide you with the time.

Please remember, to be on time. Conferences are only 20 minutes. Once someone goes over, or is running late, it throws off the entire schedule. Therefore, if you are late, you will not receive the entire 20 minutes.

If you have questions, feel free to write them done and come in prepared to get those questions answered.

On Monday March 23, our students will be taking a trip to the Air Zoo. They will have the opportunity to see the exhibits, do a cool science experiment related to our Vision and Light unit, and possibly ride some Air Zoo rides. Please make sure that students arrive at school on time. The bus will leave promptly at 9:00 and we will not return to school until 2:00.

We are super excited to be sampling our Northglade maple syrup again this year. They are looking for donations of pancake mix, juice, paper plates, napkins, and forks. Let teachers know if you can send some in to help us. We would need them by the 26th.

Spring Break begins this Friday, March 27 and school will resume on Monday, April 6.

Last Wednesday, Mrs. Penzotti, Mrs. Partin, Mrs. Spreitzer and I traveled to Washington, DC to participate in the AMS Montessori Event. We were able to meet and network with Montessori-ans from all over the world. Every year, four or five of us attend this event. It takes place in different states yearly. We also had some free time do a little sight seeing. Here are a few pictures to enjoy.
