Kindergarten Q U Wedding!!
Love was in the air in Kindergarten as we celebrated the “Q U Wedding” What a joyful way to remember that U always follows Q!
Our adorable guests arrived dressed to impress as quarterbacks and queens, ready to witness this very special union. The ceremony was beautifully officiated by our principal, Dr. Droske, making it an event to remember!
After the big “I do,” students celebrated with cake, dancing, and bubbles … because every great wedding deserves a party!
This unforgettable day made one thing perfectly clear… Q and U are forever joined!

HHS Fine Arts Explores and Performs in Boston
Ms. Graber shared, "The HHS Fine Arts Department spent part of their Spring Break exploring the city of Boston. Students enjoyed a guided tour of the Freedom Trail, saw the historic Boston Public Library, stepped aboard the USS Constitution, appreciated the Museum of Fine Art and the Harvard Museum of Natural History, met some very photogenic animals at the Franklin Park Zoo, and saw the national touring production of the Tony-winning musical Suffs at the same theatre where Anything Goes first previewed nearly a century ago. Amid the incredible history of the city, the band, choir, and dance students also had the opportunity to perform for an enthusiastic crowd at the famous Quincy Market."
Staff Spotlight
Roosevelt Elementary School
Lori Lodato
Ms. Lori Lodato is truly the heart of Roosevelt Elementary School’s main office. She keeps everything running smoothly while supporting a staff of approximately 100 people and helping meet the needs of over 500 students each day. No matter what comes her way, she handles it with kindness, professionalism, and a calm, steady presence that everyone appreciates. She’s always there to lend a hand, offer support, or help solve a problem, making her someone staff can count on without hesitation. Ms. Lodato also plays a huge role in keeping the Roosevelt Principal, Mr. Pisacane, organized and on top of things, often anticipating needs before they even arise. Beyond her work, she brings so much personality into the office with her fun decorative gnomes and seasonal holiday touches that make the space feel warm and welcoming. As a parent of two former Roosevelt students, she has a special connection to the school community that shines through in everything she does. She genuinely cares about the people around her and takes pride in being part of the Roosevelt family. Simply put, Roosevelt School wouldn’t be the same without Ms. Lodato!

Kayleen is a kind, thoughtful, and hardworking student who consistently gives her best effort and approaches every challenge with a positive, can-do attitude. She has quickly built strong, meaningful relationships, and it’s no surprise that her classmates eagerly choose her as a partner during group work. Kayleen’s compassion, inclusiveness, and ability to make others feel welcomed truly set her apart. She is a valued and cherished member of the Jefferson community, and we are so proud of all she continues to accomplish!
