March 6 Family Update
Have a Great Weekend!
The weather today definitely reminds us that seasons are changing!! Spring means many things in schools and one of them is Spring Testing. Please try to limit unnecessary absences for trips or doctor appointments after Spring Break. We will begin taking M-step and NWEA tests the week we return from Spring Break. The busiest weeks are April 27 - May 15. When students miss class on these days, they sometimes need to take 2 tests in 1 day to complete make-ups and stay on schedule with their classmates. Please communicate planned absences with teachers as early as possible so that we can work with students to begin testing before being gone. Thank you!
See you Monday Broncos!

Congratulations Musicians!
Our 7th & 8th Grade Bands performed at the MSBOA Band Festival this week and earned Division 1 (Superior) ratings from each judge! CMS Water for South Sudan Donations
After reading A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park as an ELA class, a group of 6th graders have been inspired to take action. They are raising money for Water for South Sudan to help provide access to clean, safe drinking water for communities in need.
This connects directly to the mission of Coopersville Area Public Schools by contributing to the global community. Through learning and action, we are showing how students can make a meaningful impact beyond our own town.
- How to Participate:Students may donate March 9–13 during lunch at the Student Council table.
- For every $1 donated, their name will be entered into a drawing to win a Yeti, Owala, or Stanley water bottle!
- Each day a student donates, they will receive a blue water drop to display on the media center windows.
Every dollar makes a difference—every drop counts!
