Bronco Nation! Home of the A Rated Broncos
Message from Principal Myers:
Dear Bronco Nation Students and Families,
Spring Break has arrived, and it is a well deserved opportunity for our students and staff to relax, recharge, and enjoy meaningful time with family and friends. The dedication, effort, and Bronco pride demonstrated throughout our campus each day by the students and staff truly make our school community special in Bronco Nation.
To our students, remember that wherever you go, you proudly represent the “Brand” of Palm Beach Central High School. Make wise choices, look out for one another, and create lasting memories with those who matter most. When we return, I know you will come back refreshed, focused, and ready to continue the outstanding work taking place across our school campus.
We look forward to welcoming our Broncos back energized and prepared to finish the school year strong as we continue striving for excellence together. As we always share “Great Things Are Happening in Bronco Nation”. School resumes on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
Thank you to our families for your continued partnership and support of our school community. Your encouragement and involvement help make Bronco Nation stronger every day.
Enjoy your Spring Break, Bronco Nation. Have a safe, restful, and enjoyable week.
Educationally Yours,
Mr. Reginald B. Myers
Principal
Dance Marathon 2026
Palm Beach Central's National Honor Society, put together another phenomenal Dance Marathon! With the help of Student Government, they were able to transform the cafeteria, and create an event that was memorable and fun. Participants raised $76,013.64 for the Children Miracle Network that supports the local Nicklaus Children's Hospital. Other groups, such as LIA, and Safe School Ambassadors also volunteered their time to help keep the event exciting. This annual tradition was only possible due to the amazing community sponsors! Palm Beach Central is so lucky to have a community that supports the schools and causes such as these.
Career and Technical Education Month Celebration
During the month of February, Palm Beach Central's CHOICE programs celebrated Career and Technical Education (CTE) month by running weekly lunchtime activities. Students got to learn several skills associated with the academies curriculums. This help show that Palm Beach Central High School is the right CHOICE for you!
The late Choice application window will be available March 30-May 1, 2026. Please visit mypbchoiceapp.com, if interested in applying for our Culinary, Engineering, or Information Technology programs.
The Medical Sciences program is an in-house program. Please visit our Choice Academies website page to complete the application.
Choice program lottery results will be released after 4 PM on April 2, 2026.
If you have any questions, please email our Choice Coordinator, Lisa Gullo.
On Friday, February 20th, we had the honor of retiring the jersey of Cam Smith, Class of 2022. Cam’s impact on Palm Beach Central Baseball extends far beyond the field. His work ethic, leadership, and commitment to excellence set the standard for our program.
Now with the Houston Astros organization, Cam continues to represent PBC at the highest level of the game. His journey is a testament to what is possible through dedication, perseverance, and pride in Bronco Nation.
This is the third Baseball jersey that Palm Beach Central's Baseball team has retired. Cam Smith joins two phenomenal Bronco legends Devon Travis, and Brad Peacock to have their legacy cemented in the baseball field.
We are incredibly proud of the legacy he has built and the example he continues to set for our current and future student athletes.
BSU / BLAST - Black History Month
Black Student Union (BSU) and the Black Leadership & Achievement Student Team (BLAST) hosted a spirit week to celebrate Black History Month. The week was filled with history, spirit, and capped off with an amazing block party during both lunches.
Bronco Athletes of the Month
Please join me in celebrating and congratulating our February Bronco Athletes of the Month!
⚾ De’Angelo Davila (Baseball) De’Angelo has been a model of consistency and competitiveness for our baseball program. Batting .318 with 6 RBIs while maintaining an impressive 2.00 ERA on the mound, he continues to deliver in high-pressure moments. His ability to contribute both offensively and defensively speaks to his work ethic, focus, and commitment to team success.
🥍 Molly Keydel (Lacrosse) Molly has been a powerhouse for our lacrosse program, tallying an outstanding 41 points, including 37 goals and 4 assists. She sets the tone offensively and leads by example with her intensity, discipline, and drive each time she takes the field.
Both of these student-athletes exemplify the dedication, resilience, and Bronco PRIDE that define athletics at Palm Beach Central High School.
Let’s congratulate De’Angelo and Molly on an exceptional month and thank them for representing Bronco Nation with excellence!
No Place for Hate Day
Our Holocaust teacher, Ms. Giles, along with the help of her students, coordinated the No Place for Hate awareness day. Students were able to pick up kindness rocks, pledge to respect, and celebrate inclusivity.
Pathfinders Interviews
Pathfinders nominees travelled to Palm Beach Atlantic University to participate in the official interviews for this year's Pathfinders competition.
Career and Technology Education - Student of the Year
Francesca Rodriguez, a Culinary Academy student, is our CTE Student of the Year. She was recognized during the February 18 School Board Meeting for excellence in the classroom, community, and academy class. Palm Beach Central is honored to have Francesca, and so many amazing students that go above and beyond to be involved in the community while excelling academically.
Battle of the Books
Palm Beach Central High School's Book Club competed in the District Grand Battle on Tuesday, March 10 versus Suncoast High School. The Broncos received 2nd place, being one question short of winning the event. Suncoast has been the champion for the past 4 seasons, so keeping toe to toe with them is a huge accomplishment. Broncos will be bringing back 4 out of the 5 members for next season.
Southeast Regional Science Olympiad
Please congratulate the following students who competed at the Southeast Regional Science Olympiad at Florida Atlantic University. The team finished 19th out of 44 teams.
The only public school to beat them was Boca Raton High School. Palm Beach Central placed higher than Suncoast, Dreyfoos, Spanish River, and several other schools.

Asbestos Management Plan Notification
The School District of Palm Beach County, in accordance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986 (AHERA), has developed and maintains an asbestos management plan for your facility. The plan contains a statement from the project architect indicating that asbestos containing building materials were not specified during construction of your facility or these building materials were previously abated and removed. However, asbestos containing materials may be present in portable classrooms, but not modular or concretable classrooms, located on your campus.
At present, District policy requires that all building materials within portable classrooms that contain or are assumed to contain asbestos be inspected periodically to ensure they remain in a safe condition. Damaged materials, or materials that are subject to damage due to a pending renovation or maintenance activity, will be sampled to determine asbestos content and addressed accordingly.
A copy of the management plan can be found in the main office of your facility, or the School District's office of Environmental and Conservation Services. The plan is available for public inspection during normal business hours. Persons interested in reviewing the management plan are requested to contact the school principal, facility manager, or the School District's office of Environmental and Conservation Services at (561) 684-5154.

Complete the FAFSA: A Key Step for Your Future
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is one of the most important steps students and families can take to make education after high school more affordable. Completing the FAFSA
opens the door to federal, state, and institutional aid, including grants, work-study opportunities, and loans that can help pay for college, university, or technical programs.
Applying early is especially important. The sooner students complete the FAFSA, the more time they have to review their options, compare financial aid offers, and make the best plan for their future. Starting early also helps reduce last-minute stress and ensures that no opportunity for support is left behind.
Do the FAFSA today. Visit FAFSA.gov to apply and take the next step toward achieving your education and career goals.
