A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we wrap up Semester 1, I want to take a moment to share how incredibly proud we are of our students. Their academic growth, positive behavior, and commitment to showing PRIDE have truly stood out this semester. These achievements are a reflection not only of their hard work, but also of the strong partnership between home and school.

Thank you for being such an important part of our team. Your support, encouragement, and collaboration make a meaningful difference in our students’ success each and every day.

We also can’t end the semester without celebrating how amazing Quarter 2’s House Day was! The energy, school spirit, teamwork, and joy on display made it a highlight of the season and a wonderful example of our school community at its best.

As we look ahead to second semester, we are excited for continued growth, new opportunities, and even more successes together.

We wish you and your family a restful, joyful, and well-deserved winter break. Thank you for all you do, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the new semester!

Grades 3-5 IDOE Family Portal

The Indiana Assessment Family Portal is a secure online tool where you can view your child’s ILEARN, IREAD, or IAM results. It helps you understand your child’s strengths, areas for growth, and how they’re performing compared to grade-level expectations.

Parents must have an access code and register for the system. Access codes were mailed this week if you did not receive them during conferences.

Arrival and Dismissal Updates

We appreciate all of the community's support for following our arrival and dismissal procedures. They are imperative to keeping our students and staff safe. As the weather is changing and it is darker in the mornings, we have a few friendly reminders for arrival/dismissal.

  • On rainy or especially cold mornings, our car rider line typically has more cars in it due to students not walking to school. Please expect the line to be longer and arrive as close to 8:40 as possible. We will have the car rider line drop off at gym until 8:55 to help with the length.
  • Please remain in cars and allow school staff to assist students out of the car. If you have a need to assist your student, you are welcome to park in the spots by the crosswalk or the cafeteria and walk them up.
  • Please do not let students out in areas where they must cross the car rider line independently. Additionally, do not let students out more than two cars from school staff. This is a safety risk.
  • School parking is not permitted in the gravel lot off of Lombardy Drive. This lot is for construction employees only.
  • Please do not park on Spicewood Drive to walk students to the front door. This causes issues for the school buses entering the parking lot.

Thank you for making sure our students are safe!
