Dear Murphy Families,

As we begin a new school year, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to all of our Murphy Elementary School District students, families, and staff. A new school year brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve, and I am excited to see our campuses once again filled with the energy and enthusiasm that make our campuses such special places.

This summer, our summer school program provided students with meaningful opportunities to continue learning, build confidence, and stay engaged in the classroom. I want to thank our teachers, support staff, and administrators who dedicated their time and talents to making summer school a rewarding experience for every student.

As we officially begin this new school year, I am filled with optimism for what lies ahead. Together, we will continue building on our successes, creating new opportunities for our students, and fostering a learning environment where every child can thrive. I have no doubt that this will be another remarkable year for our district.

The first day of school brought excitement, fresh beginnings, and plenty of smiling faces across our schools. From the moment students stepped onto campus, the energy was undeniable. Friends reunited after summer break, teachers welcomed students into their classrooms, and families shared in the excitement of a brand-new year.

The first day of school marked the beginning of another year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities. We are excited to see all that our students will accomplish throughout the year and can't wait to celebrate each milestone along the way.

The excitement of a new school year was on full display as we welcomed students and families to campuses for Meet the Teacher Night.

Across every campus, the evening was filled with opportunities to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new families to our community, and strengthen the partnerships that help our students succeed.

Meet the Teacher Night was more than just a chance to visit a classroom—it was the official start of another exciting chapter. The energy, enthusiasm, and support shown by our families reminded us of the incredible community that makes our district such a special place to learn.

Our welcome back celebration brought employees from every campus and department together to kick off the new school year with excitement, collaboration, and a shared commitment to student success.

Throughout the day, conversations centered around new ideas, fresh goals, and the opportunities that a new school year brings. Staff participated in professional learning, collaborated with their teams, and focused on creating classrooms where every student feels welcomed, supported, and inspired to learn.

This June, we welcomed students to an engaging summer school program focused on strengthening academic skills while providing meaningful enrichment opportunities. Throughout the month, students participated in hands-on lessons, collaborative activities, and targeted instruction designed to build confidence and prepare them for a successful new school year.

One of the greatest highlights of this year's Summer School was the incredible growth and achievement demonstrated by our students. Their hard work, curiosity, and dedication were evident each day as they reached academic goals and embraced new challenges.

We are grateful to our outstanding teachers, support staff, and families for partnering with us to make summer school a rewarding experience. We look forward to seeing our students continue to build on their success as they return to campus this year.
