Wednesday is Unity Day: Wear Orange Wednesday is Unity Day: Wear Orange

During October’s Bullying Prevention Month, we are focusing on how our words and actions help others feel connected. Inviting someone to join, checking in with a classmate, and asking for help when someone is being hurt are small actions that can make a meaningful difference.

On Wednesday, October 21, we invite students and staff to wear orange for Unity Day, a national event created by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center to promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. Wearing orange is one way to show our shared commitment to a school where everyone belongs.

Student Information for the Military

As you may be aware, the law permits recruitment offices of the United State military services to have access to class lists of public high school juniors and seniors. These class lists are used in recruitment efforts by the armed services. Information contained in these class lists includes student names, addresses and telephone numbers to be used to contact prospective enlistees.

Students and parents/guardians may elect to have their contact information excluded from the class lists provided to the military services. To have your student’s contact information excluded from the list provided to the military services, you must complete this form by Friday, October 23th.

Please note that parents who responded last year for their juniors should submit their information again.
