Alabama LibraryMedia UpdateApril 2019 Edition

A quick note...

Spring is finally here, and I hope Spring Break left you refreshed and ready to tackle the last few months of school.

I have enjoyed traveling and meeting many more of you over the last month, but most of all I enjoyed "seeing" everyone at the First Friday Book Talk Session. Shout out to the awesome collaboration with public librarians and school librarians to hopefully bring you new book titles for your collection.

You will find the April First Friday information below and always at http://bit.ly/FirstFridaysPD.

Technology in Motion is teaming up to bring library media specialists great information about using Google tools.

If you would like to submit shout outs, announcements, and photos of your library activities please send to me at cdillard@alsde.edu with a brief description for me to place in the Library Media Shout Outs section. See the amazing things going on in school libraries across the state in the latest 2 page version below!

I would love to work with your school system for professional development, please reach out or have the central office library media contact/supervisor reach out.
