Late Start Wednesday Survey Late Start Wednesday Survey

The APS Department of Accountability and Data will be collecting survey data from staff and families across all late start schedule sites to support an end-of-year evaluation of the district’s late start schedule.

Family Survey:

Family surveys will be distributed by sites as a one-page informational document (attached), translated into the top five languages represented at your site. Each document includes a QR code that families can scan to access the online survey. Please share this flyer with your families through your regular communication channels.

Have your voice heard by filling out the survey.

Time Management Matters

Talk with your child about the importance of getting to class on time and staying for the entire period. Every minute in the classroom counts! Punctuality and presence help students stay on track with learning, avoid missing key instruction, and build responsibility. A quick conversation at home can make a big difference in their academic success.

  • Due to a shortage of available facilities, we will only be able to offer an 8th grade girls swim team this year. The district is unable to accommodate all middle school grades at this time but hopes to resume a full middle school girls swim program next school year. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Please Please pick up your student on time after all games and practices. Prompt pick-up ensures both staff and students get home safely and in a timely manner.

Dates to Look Out For:

-Theme Basket donation collection Dec 1-9th

-12/12 Winter Fest 4:30-7

It’s Official!!!

We have a new Vice President! Please welcome Scott Sadoval to our crazy crew. We are excited to have an additional voice and perspective for the remainder of the school year and look forward to most of you meeting him during Winter Fest.

Silent Auction by Grade

We are continuing the tradition from previous years and each grade has been assigned a theme to create one (or several) baskets to be used in the Silent Auction for Winter Fest. A Flyer will be in Friday Folder (handed out in advisory) announcing both the theme and some ideas to get the creativity flowing. This is completely optional as we understand that finances can be tough this time of year in general. If you are able to donate a thing or two it does add up but you are not obligated.

Winter Fest

We are getting soooooo excited for you and your family to enjoy all the fun we have planned!

It is a free event with food to purchase and an optional silent auction that is filled with some Exciting donated items…..some are a repeat from last year and others are brand new! We look forward to hanging out and enjoying some much needed fun.

King Soopers Rewards: (Easiet way to passively fundraise without trying!)

****We voted to use our last quarter earnings to fund three different experiences for Winter Fest so stay tuned!!!!!! Every household subscribed helps our BIG time!

Help our school by buying your groceries. This last quarter we earned $1165.23 from families buying groceries, It is the easiest fundraiser and takes less than 10 minutes to set up so sign up if you haven't already. A huge Thank You to our current participants!! 188 families are currently contributing money towards our school line items from our budget.

Approximately two weeks ago, I started a Food Pantry to offer food items to families in need of extra support (food assistance) during the SNAP shutdown and holidays. My goal is to transform this into a year-round initiative to assist our community continuously. As part of this effort, one of my resources is providing a turkey or ham for families wishing to celebrate the holidays in a traditional way.

If you are aware of any students or families who could benefit from this support, please let me know so I can reach out to them.

If a family does not feel comfortable to reach out to me directly, they can do that also through you or the front office. I created a "Quest Community Food Assistance Request Form" that you can share with a parent.

Thank you so much for your generous food donations to our school Food Pantry. Your kindness and support mean the world to our students and families — because of you, many children and their families will have more secure meals and brighter days ahead. Your compassion and dedication to our community strengthens and models the caring spirit we hope to nurture in our students. We excitedly anticipate receiving additional food items and hygiene products from our community to continue supporting our families.
