Bronco Families,

It continues to be a great 2023-2024 school year. Overall we have seen huge engagement numbers from our students participating in field trips, fundraisers, spirit weeks, and clubs and activities. We just wrapped up our fall sports and activities with the largest participation numbers that we have seen. A special shout-out to all of our Seniors who completed their fall seasons, we appreciate your commitment and dedication and it's been our privilege to watch your success as Broncos. As we transition to winter activities we will be kicking it off with our play and winter sports and performances right behind it. In November we will have mid-term grades coming out and Fall Conferences. Please read through this newsletter to stay caught up on what's happening at Parkrose.

It's a great year to be a BRONCO!

Shaver Crosswalk

Bronco Families we are asking for your help! Before and after school we do our best to get car riding students out quickly and keep traffic moving. We also always want to keep the safety of our students at the forefront, to do so we have a crossing guard at the crosswalk between the MS and HS. There have been times when the crossing guard has come close to getting hit by a car while trying to provide our students a safe place to cross the street. Please help us by watching for the crossing guard if you come to pick up your student!

Off and Away - Technology Policy

At Parkrose High School, we prioritize creating a focused and productive learning environment for our students. To ensure this, we have implemented an "Off-and-Away" policy for personal electronic devices during classroom instructional time. Cellphones, earphones, and smartwatches are to be off and away in classrooms. Exceptions may be made upon approval.

This policy aims to minimize disruptions, enhance engagement, and promote meaningful interactions among students and teachers. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a conducive atmosphere for learning.
