Blue Rapids Elementary
It's all blue skies in Blue Rapids
It was a great week at Blue Rapids Elementary! As a staff, we want to thank all the parents for coming to Student Success meetings this week. We truly appreciate your support and thank you for partnering with us in educating your children. I also would like to thank Valley Heights PTO for providing an amazing meal at Student Success Meetings. This week, the Pre-K–6 students enjoyed a special assembly featuring the Cardon Polka Band, who performed for the students. It was a lot of fun for them to see the unique instruments and hear the music. Mrs. Popejoy and Mrs. Schroller have been working very hard with the students on the spring music program. The spring program will be here before we know it March 10th—I have been able to hear some of the program, and it is sounding great! You will notice that there is no school tomorrow. I pray everyone enjoys the three-day weekend and that those who have not been feeling well due to various bugs and illnesses can rest and be ready to return to school on Monday.
Here are some upcoming dates to remember:
- NO SCHOOL -Friday, February 27
- Spring Individual/Group Pictures for 3rd - 6th grades - March 9th

As always, thank you for the privilege and blessing that it is to work with your children. My door is always open if you have any concerns or you need to visit.
