Dear Timberwolf Families,
Last week, Truedell hosted a SafeTalk Workshop that was put on by some of the staff at Educational Services. Thank you to the families at Truedell who attended to discuss the very important topics that were being covered in this workshop. We were happy to have families from other schools in our area attend as well. It is a goal in our School Achievement Plan to support student mental health and offer supports to our school community to raise awareness and understanding. I strongly encourage families to take advantage of future opportunities that are offered through the school and in the community.
The Running Club is busy putting in kilometres in the neighbourhood. We are thrilled to have over 70 students between grade 3 and 8 participating. The students are counting their kilometres each day to see how many kilometres that they will run in a month. Six students ran 15 km in the first week of practice. Congratulations to Oliver G, Quinton W, Cohen T, Hanson S, Jax G and Avery H! There were many others that were VERY close to the 15 km mark by the end of the week and will reach that milestone next week. In total, our Running Team ran 552 km in the first week of practice. The coaches are INCREDIBLY proud of this dedicated group who proves everyday that "they can do hard things!"

The Grade 8's are running a fundraiser to raise money to go towards their graduation. They will be organizing a milkshake day for the whole school. Order a chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry milkshake for $2.50, to support the Graduates of 2025. Milkshakes will be available to purchase through www.school-day.com from Friday March 21st until Monday April 7th, 2025. They will be delivered to classrooms on Thursday April 17th..
