Jessica is a kind, friendly, and smart student whose curiosity and dedication make her a standout member of the 7th grade. She enjoys playing soccer, doing arts and crafts, reading books, planning ways to make the world a better place, and playing video games. Jessica is committed to academic success, with a short-term goal of earning all A’s, and she dreams of pursuing a long-term career as a doctor or nurse. She is currently reading Threads of Peace and loves history because it allows her to learn new things about the past. Jessica is inspired by Mrs. O’Conner, who showed kindness to students learning English and helped them succeed despite language barriers. Congratulations, Jessica!

Giovanni is a funny, focused, and determined student whose dedication and curiosity make him a remarkable 7th grader. He enjoys gaming, drawing, and watching anime. He is committed to academic success, with a short-term goal of raising his Math grade to an A and a long-term goal of earning straight A’s for the entire school year. Giovanni is currently reading Naruto, Book 17, and his favorite subject is Social Studies because he finds history both important and fascinating. He is inspired by Mr. Huf, who brings history to life by sharing his experiences traveling to historic sites and his extensive knowledge beyond the classroom. Congratulations, Giovanni!
