Join us for the Scottish Walk
Event Information
Gather your beardies and join us as the NCBCC once again marches in the Scottish Christmas Walk in Old Town Alexandria on Saturday December 6th. The parade begins at 11:00 and we need to assemble in our parade position by 10:30. The attached pdf shows our order in the parade. We usually assemble between Wilkes and Wolfe streets and we should get more details on this soon. Contact Roger Orrock at gandafna.roger99@gmail.com for more information. We hope to see you there. It’s a great way to feel festive and begin the Holiday season.
RSVPs are enabled for this event.
🐾❄️⛄Message from the President☃️❄️🐾
The holiday season is officially upon us, bringing that familiar mix of sparkle, reflection, and togetherness. As the weather turns colder and the first hints of winter settle in, it feels like the perfect time to pause and appreciate the moments—and the companions—that make our days brighter.
This season encourages us to slow down and give thanks: for the people who support us, the memories we’ve made, and the cozy comforts that carry us through the chilly months. And of course, we can’t forget the joy brought by our loyal beardies. Whether they’re bounding through the first dusting of snow or curling up by our feet after a long day, our bearded collies remind us what warmth and companionship truly mean.
If you're looking for a festive way to kick off the season, don’t forget that the Scottish Christmas Walk in Alexandria is happening this Saturday! It’s a wonderful celebration of heritage, community, and holiday cheer—and always a fun outing for friends, families, and beardies alike.
As we step into the holidays, we hope you stay warm, stay grateful, and soak up every moment with the ones you love—furry, fluffy, or otherwise.
Warmest wishes for a bright and joyful season,
Laura
