The State of the Arts A Digital, Quarterly Publication of the Fine Arts in PCSD

Happy Fall!

I love this time of the year with the crisp, cool mornings and beautiful fall colors. Just as colorful and crisp are the images you will find in this issue of The State of the Arts ~ So many great pictures and videos of the exciting things going on in the fine arts classrooms across this district!!

Our students and teachers are doing wonderful things every single day in the classroom, on football fields, in practice rooms, in art studios and galleries, in colleges and universities, in recording studios, and on stages within our own communities and across the nation! Join us in celebrating this amazing collection of talent! We hope you will see some familiar faces in the columns of this publication.

As always, I want to invite you to take some time this school year to visit a school play or attend one of our many art shows, concerts, competitions, band exhibitions, choral festivals, or even a fine arts classroom near you.

Engage. Inspire. Prepare.
