Mr. Cullen's Weekly Update

MTPS Families,

With the arrival of August, the excitement surrounding the start of a new school year continues to grow. Across MTPS we are working diligently to ensure that every classroom, program, and learning environment is fully prepared to welcome students back for what promises to be a rewarding 2026-2027 school year.

During this month we are participating in professional learning, collaborating on instructional planning, and finalizing preparations that will provide students with engaging educational experiences and a strong foundation for success from the very first day.

August is also an important time for students and families as we begin many of our annual introductory events. Orientations, transition activities, back-to-school meetings, and other opportunities are designed to help students and families become familiar with their schools, meet teachers and staff, and begin the year with utmost confidence. Please know that we will continue sharing important information, event details, and back-to-school updates. We encourage families to stay connected through district and school communications, including email, our website, and social media.

We remain fully committed to providing an academic environment that challenges students academically, supports their individual growth, and fosters a culture where every learner feels valued, connected, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. We are grateful for the continued partnership of our families and look forward to working together to make this a year filled with achievement, opportunity, and memorable milestones.
