World Finest Chocolate Fundraiser World Finest Chocolate Fundraiser

We are continuing to distribute chocolate boxes for our World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser! However, many of your students took a box or two to begin selling and we ask that you please ensure they are selling the candy bars. They are only a dollar! When students finish selling the entire box of chocolate, they should return the envelope with their name on it and the money included to one of the choir directors. Student scholarship points earned by selling chocolate/doing flags will be available to see in Presto, and these points can be used towards things like Spring trip payments, voice lessons, solo and ensemble accompanist fees, class fees, and more!

We will begin sending emails out next week if your student still has chocolate checked out.

Chorale are singing The National Anthem at all home football games! Students are to wear their TMHS Choir polo and jeans with no holes. Student call time for the following games will be 6:15pm outside of the stadium by the jumbotron. Once we have finished The National Anthem, usually at 7pm, students are released to either leave the game, or walked up into the stands to attend the game. Chorale students singing The National Anthem do not need to purchase a ticket to attend the game.

Bella Voce National Anthem Bella Voce National Anthem

On Tuesday, October 14th, Bella Voce members will sing The National Anthem before the Varsity volleyball game. Students participating will need to meet in the athletic hallway by 5:15pm dressed in their choir polos and jeans with no holes. Students are welcome to stay for the game or leave after singing.

Patriotic Show! - 10/17 Patriotic Show! - 10/17

The annual Patriotic Game(THS v. TMHS) is next Friday, Oct. 17th and the entire TMHS and THS Choir, Band, Cheer, and Dance teams are performing during the halftime show! All eligible Choir students are required to perform and as with every performance, it is four major grades.

Tickets will sell out quickly for both sides and traffic to the game is the worst. Students involved in the halftime performance do not need to purchase tickets to the game. Students who are not participating with another group (cheer, color guard, Navy Empire, etc) will need to wear their choir polo, jeans with no holes, and closed-toe shoes. Students will sit with the choir behind the band for the entire first half of the game, and will not have access to concessions. Following the halftime performance, students may stay for the game or leave. We encourage students to being their own refillable water bottle. There will be a bus provided from TMHS to the stadium for the game, and a bus back to TMHS at the end of the game. Students may also drive to the stadium or be dropped off by our 6:00pm call time. Students who are riding the bus to the stadium will need to be at TMHS in the choir room by 5:15pm. The bus will leave for the stadium promptly at 5:30pm.

All eligible students participating in Patriotic Show will be on a field trip leaver on Friday, October 17th during the school day for our rehearsal at the stadium. Students are encouraged to dress comfortably for the weather, but be in dress code. A pizza lunch will be provided, but if your student has dietary restrictions they should bring a sack lunch.

Below is a message from the TISD Athletic Dept. that is a must read regarding the game, bag policy, tickets, parking map, etc.

A few reminders to share with your parents and players regarding the Patriotic Game — we want to make sure all parents of participating students have the correct information so they don’t miss out.

  • No Sub Varsity or JH Comp Tickets will be accepted.
