Hawk News 9/12/2025
Hendrickson High School
Message from Principal Grebb:
Last week, we received exciting news, four of our seniors have been named National Merit Semifinalists! This incredible achievement, based on last October’s PSAT results, is a true testament to their hard work and dedication. We are so proud of these outstanding students.
The next opportunity is right around the corner for the Class of 2027, who will take the PSAT on October 14th.
We’ve now completed five weeks of school, and the all-important sixth week is approaching. This is the first grade check that determines UIL eligibility, so be sure to review Skyward this weekend and stay on top of your grades.
Remember, consistent attendance is one of the strongest predictors of success. Please do your best to be here every day, and don’t hesitate to reach out if we can support you.

Photos
Underclassmen photos will be September 25 & 26 through English class.
Senior pictures have to be taken by CADY Photography. You can take them either at their studio in Cedar Park, or they will be on campus October 7 and November 11, 12. Even if the photo is taken on campus, you have to set up an appointment on their website, here. The free session, they call it Yearbook Only, includes the senior portrait in an outfit of your choice and a cap and gown.
You have the option to take more photos with more outfits, but they do charge a sitting fee for those.
Please email kari.riemer@pfisd.net for any questions about yearbooks or school pictures/senior portraits.
Yearbooks
The yearbook order site is open. To order a yearbook, go here. Books are at the lowest price they will be all year.
Senior parents interested in tribute ads, those are also already available for purchase. You can purchase now and turn in the photos and message later--just type will submit later in the text spots.
