MS HS 2025-2026 Student Class Schedules MS HS 2025-2026 Student Class Schedules

If you would like to see your schedules before the last day of school, you can do that in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Log in and go to the left hand column and click on "schedules". Click the drop down menu to 2025-26.

If you find you need a schedule change you can do so in a few ways:

1. Turn your schedule in on the last day of school to the counseling center, with a note that indicates the change you would like. These will be looked at in order of grade levels/seniors first.

2. Follow the below schedule by emailing, calling or dropping in on the following days.

2025 Seniors: Tuesday, May 27th

2025 Juniors: Wednesday, May 28th

2025 Sophomores: Thursday, May 29th

2025 Freshman: Friday, May 30th

Middle School requests will be looked at June 18th-20th.

Thank you and have a great last week of school.

FYI! Senate Bill 68 - This will affect your MS HS children. FYI! Senate Bill 68 - This will affect your MS HS children.

What you need to know - Cell Phones & School Legislation

SB 68 has passed both the House and the Senate, LJC6, along with all districts in the state of MO, will be working to respond to this legislation. It still needs the Governor's signature to become law, but it is assumed he will sign. While many of us champion less use of cell phones for our kids, we know that change like this might be difficult and for some worrisome. We will continue to communicate our district plans as they are developed. Our elementary and MS students have been attending school under these expectations. Yet, this law will restrict HS students at all hours of the school day, which is a change for them.

ELECTRONIC PERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS DEVICES

(Section 162.207)

Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, each school district and charter school shall adopt a written policy regarding students' possession or use of electronic personal communication devices. Such a policy shall be designed to promote students' educational interests and ensure a safe, effective working environment for staff and volunteers. The act defines an "electronic personal communications device" as a portable device that is used to initiate, receive, store, or view communication, information, images, or data electronically.

At a minimum, the policy shall prohibit students from using or displaying these devices from the beginning until the end of the school day, including, but not limited to, during instructional time, meal times, breaks, time between classes, and study halls. The policy shall also outline disciplinary procedures for violations and include exceptions for students who need devices due to specific educational or health needs, such as individualized education plans or 504 plans under federal law. Exceptions may allow device use in emergencies, as defined in the act, or for authorized educational purposes. The policy shall be published on the school district's or charter school's website, and school employees or volunteers shall be immune from liability if they act in good faith and follow the policy's disciplinary procedures. This provision shall expire on August 28, 2032.

NASBE High School Transformation Network Survey

Missouri is one of six states selected to join the National Association of State Boards of Education’s (NASBE’s) High School Transformation State Network. The Network will focus on creating more relevant and effective high school experiences to better prepare students for the future.

The Missouri State Board of Education is asking education stakeholders and local education agencies to help inform the work in Missouri and contribute to the Network’s policy discussions by completing the Network’s high school transformation survey by May 23, 2025. The results will help organizers understand how state policy impacts you, your students, your schools, and your community.

For questions about the survey, please reach out to Jon Alfuth at alfuthj@knowledgeworks.org. For more information about NASBE, visit the NASBE website.

Calling All Lone Jack Historians! Calling All Lone Jack Historians!

As we get to the final months of our construction of the new fine arts and athletic multipurpose building, we would like to begin an outreach for any artifacts, photographs the would honor the old high school/Primary building. At this time, we are looking for items to hang on walls, pictures, write ups, etc. We would be happy to take digital copies, but if you have a specific item, we can get it memorialized digitally and get it back to you asap. Please send or communicate with kbutler@lonejackc6.net

We are working through our district resources, but never hurts to connect and network for more. THANK YOU in advance!

Parent Notification: Chromebook & Google Services Consent Required

Dear Lone Jack Families,

As part of our updated Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), all parents or guardians must sign a consent form before their student is issued a Chromebook device.

This requirement ensures that Lone Jack Schools remain aligned with Google’s policies. Specifically, for students under 18 using Google Workspace for Education, schools must obtain parental or guardian consent before granting access to certain Additional Google Services, including YouTube, Google Earth, and Google Maps.

Please note: Beginning March 2025, Google now requires schools to reconfirm this consent on an annual basis.

Your cooperation helps us provide a safe, secure, and policy-compliant digital learning environment for all students.

Thank you for your support,

Lone Jack C6 School District
