Dear PES Families,

Today we held our all-school meeting to celebrate our Students of the Month. Students get very excited for this celebration each month. Students work hard to demonstrate being respectful, safe, and kind, and may even have the opportunity to earn this award more than once during the year. We look for students who not only consistently demonstrate these qualities, but also those who show improvement and effort toward them. A video of photographs from the celebration is included below for families to enjoy.

A special shout-out to our kindergarten students for their fantastic performance of The Mittenโ€”they did an amazing job! Thank you to the parents and families who were able to attend and support our students. Below, you will find information for families who would like to be part of the Buzz Book.

Have a great weekend,

Tammy

ConVal School Board Community Forum

The ConVal School District invites all residents to a Community Forum discussing the budget, warrant articles, open enrollment, and the proposed withdrawal of Francestown from the ConVal School District

The event will be held on February 18, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Lucy Hurlin Theatre at ConVal High School. A snow date has been scheduled for March 4, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

We encourage all residents to attend and participate in the discussion on these important topics affecting our community. This event will be live-streamed on the ConVal Events YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/@ConValEvents), and it will be available for viewing anytime thereafter.

PTO Buzz Book

As mentioned last week, the PTO is reviving the โ€œBuzz Book,โ€ an opt-in student directory which has been offered by the PTO in past years.

As of Wednesday of this week, we have received contact information for just 34 students. In order for the Buzz Book to be truly useful, we need much more participation! We recognize that many families still have the directories which were issued by the school two years ago, and/or individual class lists which have been provided since that time. Moving forward, the Buzz Book will be your best source for parent contact information, particularly email addresses.

If you would like to share your contact information, please fill out the Google Form below. The information you choose to provide will be shared with other PES families, but we will not share your information with anyone else in any format.

Your inclusion in the Buzz Book is strictly voluntary and you may choose to provide as much or as little information as is comfortable for you. None of the contact information fields are required, but in order for your entry to be useful it is a good idea to provide at least one method of contact.

We ask that you please make sure to include your childโ€™s grade and teacher name.

This directory is a project of the PES PTO and is not a ConVal-sponsored student directory.
