No Students for Parent Teacher Conferences Oct 30th
No School Oct 31 & Nov 3
Create partnerships during Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences are an important time to connect and strengthen the partnership between school and home. Our teachers are preparing to share information about your child’s progress and to listen to your insights as well. Together, we can ensure that each student is supported and encouraged to grow.
As you prepare for your conference, we encourage you to come ready to share what you see at home—your child’s interests, challenges, or successes. This helps teachers better understand and support your child’s learning experience.
Please know that our teachers approach these meetings with care and the belief that all parents want what’s best for their children. Even when questions or concerns arise, our shared goal is the same: to help every student feel confident, successful, and valued.
Thank you for taking the time to partner with us. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference in your child’s education and in the overall success of our school community. When home and school work together, students thrive—and that’s what truly matters most.
As the holiday season approaches, we want to ensure that every family in our district has the opportunity to celebrate and enjoy this special time of year. If you need assistance, we are now accepting sign-ups for the following programs:
🎁Angel Tree Program – Provides Christmas gifts for local families.
🦃Thanksgiving Meal Box – Includes items to prepare a Thanksgiving meal at home.
🎄Christmas Meal Box – Includes items to prepare a Christmas meal at home.
Angel Tree restrictions: You have to be in the Lone Jack School District and the limit is 3 years.
The deadline to sign up for these programs is November 10th!
If your family would benefit from assistance through any of these programs, please reach out to Lisa Weber, elementary school counselor. lweber@lonejackc6.net or 816-697-3539 ext 127

Parent Notification: Chromebook & Google Services Consent Required
Dear Lone Jack Families,
You completed this as part of the enrollment process, we just wanted to again provide the reasons behind the revised AUP.
As part of our updated Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), all parents or guardians must sign a consent form before their student is issued a Chromebook device.
This requirement ensures that Lone Jack Schools remain aligned with Google’s policies. Specifically, for students under 18 using Google Workspace for Education, schools must obtain parental or guardian consent before granting access to certain Additional Google Services, including YouTube, Google Earth, and Google Maps.
Please note: Beginning March 2025, Google now requires schools to reconfirm this consent on an annual basis.
Your cooperation helps us provide a safe, secure, and policy-compliant digital learning environment for all students.
Thank you for your support,
Lone Jack C6 School District
