We were thrilled to welcome correspondents from CBS National Evening News to Gering Public Schools!
They came to highlight the incredible work happening through our after-school, summer, and Bitty Bulldog childcare programs - a partnership with the YMCA that’s helping meet childcare needs right here in Gering.
This coverage shines a well-deserved spotlight on the amazing staff who make this magic happen every day. Their dedication to kids and families is what makes these programs so special. Sometimes you don’t even realize the impact you’re having… until national news comes knocking!
📺 Tune in Thursday to see Gering featured on CBS Evening News (airdate may shift due to programming).
