Student ID cards should be coming home in Thursday folders! These cards will be used during end-of-day pickup for parents/guardians to show so that our staff can scan them. This helps streamline our end of the day pick ups.

Please keep your child’s ID card handy and in a safe place so it’s ready to use at pickup!

Girls on the Run Update Girls on the Run Update

Due to low participation, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Girls on the Run for this fall. We are so sorry to the families who registered and were looking forward to participating.

We hope to bring Girls on the Run back to Nike Elementary this spring! Be sure to keep an eye out for more information and registration details when the spring season approaches.

Thank you for your understanding and support! We can’t wait to get our Nike Scouts ready to run, grow, and shine in the spring!

Thoughts from Dr. Tollison: Thoughts from Dr. Tollison:

Happy Thursday Nike Families,

Even though it was a short week, a lot of learning happened at Nike Elementary! Ask your child if they received an attendance incentive this week! We truly appreciate our families who make sure their Scouts are here and on time each day, ready to learn. Attendance Matters! Every Day Counts!

Tomorrow is Purple Friday! Don’t forget to wear your purple and show off your MVNation pride! We will also be taking a school-wide picture, so come dressed in your purple and ready to smile!

Next Monday is Chiefs Day! The Kansas City Chiefs will play their first home football game of the season, so all Nike Scouts are encouraged to wear their favorite Chiefs gear or red as we cheer them on!

Our fundraiser begins next Thursday! Information and details will be coming home in next week’s Thursday folders. Be on the lookout!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out by calling the school office at 636-271-1444 or emailing jtollison@mvr3.k12.mo.us.
