CMS Tiger Updates
January 2025
Greetings Tiger Families,
Last Friday, Assistant Principals Ms. Mincey and Mr. Cagna conducted their quarterly house meetings with the students in their respective grade levels. These house meetings occur every 45 days (each quarter) and serve several important purposes:
- Support Student Decision Making: The meetings provide a platform for students to engage in discussions about their choices and responsibilities.
- Review School Procedures and Consequences: Students are informed about the school's policies, helping them understand expectations and the impact of their actions.
- Celebrate Positive Decisions: The meetings also highlight and recognize student decisions that lead to positive outcomes, fostering a supportive school community.
As you know, the new HCS Personal Electronic Device Policy begins Wednesday, January 22.
Please refer to the flier below for a clearer understanding of the policy and its consequences. This same flier was shared with students during the House Meetings this past Friday.
Please contact the assistant principal responsible for your child's grade level with any questions.
- Chris Cagna (6th grade and 8th grade students with the last name of A-L).
- Megan Mincey (7th grade and 8th grade students with the last name M-Z).
