Fall Fun & Spooky School Spirit! 🍁🎃

Dear Sippican Families,

We hope you had a nice weekend & found some time to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage! Whether your family spent time outdoors, visited a pumpkin patch, or simply enjoyed some downtime together, we hope the weekend offered a chance to recharge.

As we head into another busy week at Sippican, we want to thank you for the support you provide each day. Asking about your child’s school day, encouraging them through a challenge, and celebrating their accomplishments all help strengthen the connection between home and school. Those everyday conversations make a difference, and we appreciate your partnership.

The excitement will build throughout the week as we look forward to Friday’s 5th and 6th Grade Halloween Dance! It will be a fun opportunity for our older students to spend time with friends and enjoy a special school event together. We’re anticipating plenty of smiles, lots of energy, and a few dance moves that may be scarier than the Halloween decorations!

We’ll continue encouraging our students to bring Sippican’s “3 to Be” into everything they do: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Kind. From the classroom to the dance floor, those expectations help everyone feel welcome and included.

Thank you for being part of our Sippican community. We wish your family a wonderful week ahead!

Warmly,

Lynn Dessert, Principal
Greg Thomas, Assistant Principal

Dear School Community,

This school year parents and caregivers will have the option to secure an insurance policy through School Device Coverage (SDC) to protect their student's school issued Chromebook for $25. The decision to enroll in the program is voluntary and at your discretion.

If enrolled, this insurance program can protect your student's Chromebook in the event that it is lost, stolen, or damaged accidentally. This policy allows you to file a claim against any number of incidents that may take place with no deductibles, no added fees, and no claims limits.

To obtain coverage, please apply online here or print the attached form and return it to the school.

If you have any questions or require additional information - please contact SDC at 888-978-3515.

Partnering for Your Child's Success Partnering for Your Child's Success

We want to reinforce our commitment to open and effective communication with all of our families. When a concern or question arises, the best first step is always to contact your child's classroom teacher or the specialist who works with your child.

Our teachers are the most knowledgeable about what is happening in their classrooms and are best equipped to address your concerns directly.

If, after speaking with the teacher, you feel the issue is not resolved or you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to the school administration. This approach helps us work together efficiently to support your child.

Thank you for your partnership as we all work to make this a successful year for our students!
