We had to postpone our June meeting until the 23rd. One June 23, we did our Bible Study in Romans at 5:00 and then our Ministry meeting at 6:00. We had a couple of handouts: Ways to Minister 2 for Secret Sisters, and Pocket Letters Template for Pen Pals. Since we did our Bible Study, we didn't do Part 2 of our devotionals about giving grace to each other. We'll pick that up for our July meeting.

Remember, there is a table in the church gym for donations for the Girl's Home. They are collecting paper towels, toilet paper, girl's underwear, and stretch shorts to wear under skirts and dresses, sizes 3, 4, 6, and 8. They are also looking for girl's purses. Donations are always welcome.

Our time with Isaiah House 1:17 has come to an end. They will not be continuing with opening a chapter in our area. We did decide however, to start our own Visitation Ministry. We will be working in a group text on coming up with gifts and people to visit. Click the button below if you are interested in joining us in that ministry.

Our next Women's Bible Study will be on July 28, and we'll be continuing in Chapter 5 of Romans; so even if you haven't been joining us, please feel free to join us. We'd LOVE to have you. There's even a link below so that if you miss out on our Bible Study, you can catch up with your inputs.

We decided that we wanted to continue our service to Love in Action once a quarter. So our next date is Sept 11, 2026. We will discuss what we're taking closer to the time.

Secret Sister Sign-Ups are done! See Susan Norrell for your Secret Sister! I still have three ladies that signed up for Secret Sister, but have not come to me for their person.

We decided not to do a July Craft Night because there wasn't enough interest.

We're also looking into another Widow's Dinner (BYOW - Bring Your Own Widow) in August.

Brunch at Martha's on Mondays at 10:00 am. She'll be having lunch on her dock; all ladies and girls welcome to attend.

Calendar of Events have been updated! Check it out below as well.

We started a Women’s Bible Study!

We meet the 4th Tuesday of the month at 5:00 pm for Bible Study, AND the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 5:00 pm, for Women’s Ministry Meeting. That’s just TWO Tuesdays a month to come and be a part of your local Women’s Ministry.

We are studying the book of Romans. Tuesday, June 23, we covered Romans 5:1-11. We started by reading the passage.

We discussed any words that were unfamiliar, or phrases that just didn’t make sense.

Then in purple, we underlined all of the attributes of God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit.

In green, we underlined the imperatives; the places where Paul is telling us to do something.

In red, we underlined, where Paul is telling us to STOP doing something.

In yellow, we underlined the things we should be thankful for.

We then looked for transition words to show the difference between our faith, or lack there of, and God's faithfulness.

We discussed any questions that anyone had. We discussed how this passage should change our PAST (prayers, actions, speech, thinking). Because let’s face it, any time we study the Bible, we should be changed.

We talked about how we can apply this passage to our Circles of Influence (family, church, community, state, nation, world). We found we could love our church family a little better.

And lastly, we summarized, interpreted, and prayed the text.

This is the format we will use. I sure HOPE you can join us July 28, for our next Women’s Bible Study when we’ll continue in Ch 5 of Romans! Mark your calendars.
