SMS E-News

It was another wonderful showing for SMS at the annual ATSSB Region 3 All-Region Auditions. 33 of our students earned spots in the region bands (around 20% of the region bands are made up of SMS students), 4 ranked 1st overall out of 400+ participants, and we have the most students from our region participating in the Symphonic Band for the second consecutive year! Congratulations to ALL of our SMS Band students who grew as musicians and people through this rigorous audition process. Congratulations to our students. Go Sunnyvale Bands!

The Jr. FFA will be learning how to make wreaths for our next meeting on December 11th. During your holiday purging, if you have any old wreaths, ribbons, bows, or holiday decorations that you are willing to donate, please bring them to Mrs. Sheets room. The students will be working with Wild Orchid florist on holiday design concepts!

Floral arranging competition this past week. Our Jr. FFA students did great.

Thank you to the florist, teachers, judges and other volunteers!
