March Theme: Read, Grow, and Thrive!
This month, we're celebrating the incredible journey of reading and the ways it helps us grow and thrive. Just like the arrival of spring brings new blooms and fresh beginnings, reading opens up new worlds of knowledge, imagination, and adventure. We encourage families to set aside special time each day to read together—whether it’s a favorite story, a new book, or exploring topics that interest you. Let’s make March a month of discovery and growth through the magic of books. Remember, every page turned is a step toward a brighter, more curious mind!
Hi Families!
This March, I want to encourage all of you to join in a fun challenge called "Read, Grow, and Thrive!" Let’s make this a month full of discovery and learning. Here are some ideas to help us get started:
1. Family Reading Challenge: Set a goal to read together for a certain amount of time each day—maybe 20 minutes! Keep track of your reading, and at the end of the month, celebrate all the books you’ve enjoyed together.
2. Spring Reading List: Put together a list of spring-themed books that are perfect for all ages. Enjoy stories about new beginnings, adventures, and growth. It’s a great way to discover something new as a family!
3. Book Swap or Library Visit: Why not organize a family book swap or plan a trip to the library? It’s a fun way to find new books and connect with our community.
4.Spotlight on Authors: Find a new favorite or learn something interesting about the stories we love.
5. Tips for Making Reading Special: Make a cozy reading nook at home where everyone can snuggle up with a good book. Dedicate a special time each day for reading—like after dinner or before bed.
After reading, share your favorite part or draw a picture of what you read.
6. Photo Fun: Let’s have some fun with a reading photo contest! Send me pictures of your family reading together—outdoor, inside, anywhere! I can’t wait to see your creative photos.
Let’s make this March a month of growth and adventure through the magic of books. Happy reading, everyone!
Attendance/ Early Dismissal
Daily attendance is key to student success.
Please make every effort to have students arrive on time and ready to learn
If your child must be absent, notify the school as soon as possible
If your family is experiencing challenges that affect attendance, please reach out—we are here to support you.
Valuable instructional time is lost when students arrive late. Teachers begin lessons at 9:00 am daily. Student is considered later after 9:05. If your child is late, an adult must sign them in. Thank you for your help in getting all students to the building on time!

Early dismissal stops at 2:45 to properly prepare for dismissal. Please adhere to these times as they are explained in the handbook. NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE PICKED UP AFTER 2:45!

I know that transitioning into middle school can sometimes feel overwhelming.
It’s okay to take a moment for yourself. When things feel a little too loud or heavy, find a quiet space and listen to my calming music playlist. Allow the gentle sounds to soothe your spirit, ease your mind, and remind you that peace is always within reach.
Remember — taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of your schoolwork. A few moments of calm can make a world of difference. 💛
