Greetings Warrior Nation!
Due to the expected impacts of Tropical Storm Debby on our area this week, Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools will operate on a half-day schedule for students on Monday, August 5, 2024, AND will close on Tuesday, August 6 and Wednesday, August 7, 2024. All afterschool activities and sports are cancelled from Monday, August 5-7, 2024. Student will not be given E-Learning assignments. However, teachers may give review material to maximize the time away form school.
Normal school operations are expected to resume Thursday, August 8th. Should this change in any way, official information will be communicated through the District’s call notification system, email, district website, and social media channels on Facebook and Twitter. Parents and Staff should monitor our official communication channels for additional information.

PowerSchool Access
As we prepare for the start of the 2024-25 SY, we want our families to be aware that all Student email passwords have been reset in preparation for the new school year. This means students will not be able to access PowerSchool (schedules) and other apps until they receive their new passwords at Open House or at school on August 1st.
If a parent has been locked out of their account, please understand that our school’s primary focus right now is on Student Registration and Scheduling. Any requests for PowerSchool Parent Accounts or assistance will be addressed within the first 10 days of school.
If an account is needed, please request one here. If you have forgotten your password, please click the “forgot password” link here.
Also – please keep in mind that a number of schools and departments have changed location this year as part of Phase 1 of our Long-range Facilities Plan. Please check the list of those changes in our Back to School Hub on SCCPSS.com.
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we gear up for another successful school year.
Reminder
In order to receive a chrome book from the media center parents must have signed the following forms in PowerSchool:
