🎬 Students Lead Haslett Media Productions to Nearly 600,000 Views!

Haslett Media Productions, a student-led program, has reached an impressive milestone on its YouTube channel — 587,756 total views, with over 67,700 hours of watch time and more than 3,000 new subscribers since its start in 2015.

Students have connected the community through standout streams like the Haslett Middle School Choir Spring Pops Concert (2017) with more than 5,200 views, the Haslett United Gymnastics vs. East Lansing (2024) topping 4,700 views, and the unforgettable Varsity Football vs. Dewitt Big House Game (2022) reaching over 4,200 views.

This success reflects the dedication and creativity of Haslett students, who have expanded coverage from concerts to athletics.

With nearly 3,000 current subscribers and fresh streams posted weekly, Haslett Media Productions proves what students can achieve when they take the lead in sharing the Viking story.

Free School Meals Update

On Friday morning, the Michigan Legislature approved the 2025–2026 state budget. Among its key provisions is continued funding for universal free meals for all public school students.

This means all Haslett Public Schools students will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch for the remainder of the school year with no changes or interruptions to meal service.

We understand that the uncertainty surrounding the state budget may have been confusing and frustrating at times. It was for us, too. We sincerely appreciate your patience, cooperation, and continued support of Haslett Public Schools.
