Principal's Message Principal's Message

Good afternoon,

Students did an amazing job of following our school expectations today for those that chose to dress up for Halloween. The school continued its focus on learning without distractions.

Our construction continues to make progress. This week our blacktop is getting a refresh near where some of the construction is happening. Students will be providing updates in the morning announcements periodically, so check those out! In the announcements this week is a reminder about the end of the trimester, which is quickly approaching.

Have a great weekend and a safe Halloween for all of those that participate.

Warm Regards,

Dr. Emily Loerakker

Fremont MS - Principal

Parent University Virtual Presentation—RULER Framework—Nov. 11

Mark your calendars for November 11 as we invite all parents and guardians to join us for our upcoming virtual Parent University: Connecting RULER Social-Emotional Learning from School to Home, presented by Fremont staff.

Across all grade levels, our classrooms have been actively embedding the RULER framework (developed by the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence) into daily learning. During this virtual interactive session, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of our schoolwide RULER rollout and take home practical strategies to use the Mood Meter and Charter concepts within your family routine.

Be Seen, Be Safe - Bus Stop Safety Be Seen, Be Safe - Bus Stop Safety

As the days become shorter and mornings get darker, it can become more difficult for motorists to see children.

Consider adding reflective gear, stickers, or accessories to your child’s backpack, jacket, or clothing. A little extra visibility can make a big difference, especially when students are walking to and waiting at their bus stops.

After-School Event Attendance After-School Event Attendance

We want to remind all families that children must be actively supervised by an adult at all times when attending after-school activities on district property, including athletic events, concerts, and evening performances.

To ensure the safety and security of all students, staff, and guests, unattended roaming in hallways or other non-event areas is strictly prohibited.

Thank you for your partnership and adherence to this policy as we work together to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
