🌟 A Great Start to a Great Year! 🌟
Dear Ault Elementary Families,
What an incredible start to the school year! I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for helping make our first few weeks such a success. From the moment our students walked through the doors, we have seen excitement, energy, smiles, and a tremendous amount of school spirit!
Our students have jumped right into learning, building friendships, and becoming part of the Ault community. Our teachers and staff have worked incredibly hard to create welcoming classrooms where every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn. It has been wonderful to see our All Stars growing, learning, and showing what it means to be part of the Ault family.
We also appreciate our families for your partnership. Your support at home, your communication with our staff, and your encouragement of your children make such a difference. A strong school community happens when families and schools work together, and we are so grateful to have you on our team!
As we look ahead to the weeks and months to come, we are excited about all the learning, memories, celebrations, and opportunities that await us. We know there will be challenges along the way, but we also know that our All Stars are ready to shine!
Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of Ault Elementary. We are off to a fantastic start, and the best is yet to come!
It's a great day to be an All Star! ⭐
With appreciation,
Jeff LaCoke

Bringing Out the Best: September
Each month our All-Stars learn about a new character trait through our district's "Bringing Out the Best" program. Students learn what these character traits mean during a monthly class meeting, Mr. LaCoke reinforces the traits during morning announcements, and teachers can recognize students who display these traits with certificates - AND students' names are announced by Mr. LaCoke on the announcements! You can learn more about our "Bringing Out the Best" program by visiting our district website (linked at the top of this newsletter) and searching "Bringing Out the Best."
This month, our trait is 💛CONCERN FOR THE COMMON GOOD💛 . Students will learn that concern for the common good means helping to make our classroom, school, and community a good place for everyone. It also includes thinking about how our choices and actions affect everyone, and not just ourselves.
At school, students can demonstrate concern for the common good by:
- helping a classmate who may need assistance
- including others in games and activities
- keeping our school clean by picking up trash and putting things where they belong
- sharing supplies, equipment, and spaces respectfully
At home and in the community, students can demonstrate concern for the common good by:
- doing chores at home
- taking care of parks, playgrounds, and other community spaces
- volunteer or participate in a community service project
A simple question families can ask each day is: "What is one thing you can do today to make our school/home/neighborhood better for everyone?"
Thank you for helping us build a school community where everyone feels valued, respected, and cared for!
Sincerely,
Ms. Dickerson & Mrs. Breidenthal
