Clark Weekly News
Week ending 1/9/26
A Note from your Principal
Dear Clark students, staff, and families,
What a great welcome to the new semester and 2026 we had this week! All students and staff on campus had the opportunity to push the "reset button" so that we all move into this semester with intention, positivity, and set up for academic, emotional, and behavioral success!
I truly look forward to seeing all that is to come as we start fresh and continue to create the meaningful and diverse puzzle that is Clark! (I'm still trying to work our annual theme in, so bear with me!)
With gratitude,
Dr. Judd

👏Spreading the GOOD news!👏
Way to Go 9th graders on the APM2 you took Friday. You had a 92% proficiency rate so we look forward to 100% passing when the PM3 is taken at the end of the semester! Many of you even showed increased scores from level 3-> 4 and 4->5! Keep learning and growing!
Thank you to the family of Liam Esterhuyse for the delicious and healthy staff breakfast!
We loved hosting the annual SPAM kick off Saturday, especially since we have 5 incredible team members representing Clark this year: Andrew C, Jonathan S, Lucas G, Camryn M, and Ali W.
Thanks to several Interact Club members who volunteered with Stuart Sunrise Rotary at the Patio performing arts event in Palm City Friday evening! As printed in the program: Interact is Rotary International's service club for young people aged 12-18, fostering leadership and global understanding through community and international service projects, sponsored and guided by local Rotary clubs but self-governed by the youth members, creating a worldwide network of service-oriented teens. "Interact" combines "International" and "Action". This evening is staffed by Interact Club members helping with sound, as production assistants, as ambassadors, and manning the cocoa table as a club fundraiser. Special thanks to Interact President, Ara Winship, and Clark Advanced Learning Centers's Principal, Dr. Leslie Judd.
The National Speech & Debate Association awards degrees to Clark debate members. Members earn recognition through points and degrees in the NSDA Honor Society. Each new degree represents hours of learning, practice, and improvement by your students thanks to dedicated coaching. The following degrees were earned at Clark Advanced Learning Center fin December:
Faith Alford - Distinction
Anthony Borlaug - Distinction
Genevieve Osborn - Distinction
Rosalinda Vixamar Cemelus - Honor
Congrats to all!!!
