prevention, awareness, and shared responsibility.

Dear Saint Ambrose Parents,
Our faculty enjoyed the NCEA convention last week. We experienced some moving keynote speeches by Biship Cozzens and Sister Mary Grace (you can find her on the Hallow app), some inspiring workshops, and some excellent connections with colleagues from across the country. It was a gift to be surrounded by people strong in their vocation to bring Christ to children. Last Friday, our campus participated in safety training led by Jim French from the I Love You Guys foundation. Our trainer was excellent, and it was important for us to spend time reviewing and clarifying current practices, and noting areas of focus moving forward.
This week, we were happy to be back together teaching and learning. We love your children, and are grateful that you share them with us.
There are many students who have been asking...the wait is over-I give permission to wear uniform shorts beginning Monday, April 20.
Bus Transportation

Draw us forth, God of all creation.
Draw us forward and away from limited certainty
into the immense world of your love.
Give us the capacity to even for a moment
taste the richness of the feast you give us.
Give us the peace to live with uncertainty,
with questions,
with doubts.
Help us to experience the resurrection anew
with open wonder and an increasing ability
to see you in the people of Easter.
Amen. (https://www.xavier.edu/jesuitresource/online-resources/prayer-index/easter-prayers)

Saint Ambrose Way and Faith Virtue
Dear Families,
As we enter this vibrant season of Easter, our school community is turning our focus toward the foundational virtue of Prayer. Easter is a time of profound renewal, and prayer is the bridge that connects our hearts to that sense of new life and lasting joy. During the Easter season, prayer becomes a celebration—a way to express gratitude for the renewal we see in the world around us and the joy we carry within.
This month, we are finding ways to weave reflection and gratitude into the rhythm of our school day. We are encouraging students to see prayer as a way to "check in" with their hearts, fostering a sense of inner quiet amidst their busy schedules. By practicing moments of silence and shared intentions, we are teaching them that renewal begins within. We are also emphasizing how being present and kind to one another is a living form of prayer—one that welcomes joy into our classrooms.
To extend this spirit of Easter hospitality and prayer into your own home, you might consider these ideas: Creating Space for Stillness: Find a few minutes each day to simply be still together. Whether it’s at the start of the day or before bed, these quiet moments allow for a "renewal" of the spirit and help family members feel more connected to one another. Sharing Joys: Make it a habit to talk about the highlights of your day. Acknowledging the good things—no matter how small—is a powerful way to practice a "prayer of gratitude" and keep the Easter spirit of joy alive in your household. Welcoming the New: Use the change in seasons to talk about fresh starts. Encouraging a mindset of forgiveness and openness at home is a beautiful way to live out the hospitality of prayer, making your home a sanctuary of peace and new beginnings. Thank you for your continued support in fostering a community of prayer, faith, and joy. May your April and Easter Season be filled with the wonderful renewal of the season!

Safety and Security
To continue fostering transparency and shared understanding, we’ve compiled Safety and Security Frequently Asked Questions. to address common inquiries and provide clarity on the ongoing safety and security efforts within our Saint Ambrose Catholic Community.
Before School Activities
To ensure a safe and organized start to the day, we will now have a staff member stationed at the main school entrance from 7:45–8:30 a.m. to supervise student drop-off and help direct students to their appropriate locations for before school activities. This added supervision will help ensure that all students arrive safely and transition smoothly to their activities. All students arriving before school for any activities should enter through the main school doors. This is a change from some previous procedures for certain activities, and we appreciate your attention to this update. Thank you for your partnership in helping us maintain a safe and orderly environment for all of our students. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
If you have any questions, concerns or feedback, we are open to hearing directly from you via email or phone call. Or, complete this form.
