The Barrett Bulletin
Week of October 27-31
Barrett Russell Students are Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Kind!
Hello Barrett Families!
Thank you to all who volunteered to help at our first annual Trunk or Treat event! It was a huge success for our students and families! We are already looking forward to next year's event!
Congratulations to Miss Jean's class (Room 208) for being the top selling classroom for our chocolate fundraiser!! Thank you to everyone who sold chocolate and participated in our fundraiser! All chocolate sales will be filled this upcoming week. We are no longer selling chocolate as we reached well over our goal! Miss Marybeth will be pied in the face on Friday, November 7th :) Our school wide pajama party will also be that day!
We are still looking for raffle prizes/baskets for our upcoming Dine to Donate fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse on October 29th. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have something you can contribute! If you cannot donate a prize, please consider coming and either doing take out or dine in that night between 3:00 and 9:00! 10% of all proceeds will go directly to the Barrett Russell!
Our costume parade will be on Friday, October 31st at 9:15 for the morning session and 1:00 for the afternoon session. Families are allowed to line the perimeter and watch their child as they walk by with their class. In the event of rain, we will do the parade inside. Unfortunately, if it rains, it will not be open to families due to space issues.
We will be sending home information in early November about ordering Barrett Russell spirit wear! Please be sure to check your child's folder daily! Also, we will be doing a fall Scholastic book fair during the week of Parent Teacher Conferences!
