IXL USAGE REPORT
Here is a quick snapshot of IXL usage for the week of October 4th.
SUICIDE PREVENTION LESSONS
Calvert County Public Schools provide Suicide Prevention Lessons to all 7th graders. Our School Counselors will be in the 7th grade math classes on October 28th to provide this lesson. Students will engage in materials that raise awareness about depression, they will learn warning signs of suicide, and how to get help for a friend in danger. Our students are often the first to know if their friend is experiencing these thoughts and feelings, which is why all students in 7th grade, across Calvert County, receive this lesson.
If you DO NOT want your child to participate in this lesson, please contact Ms. Corrow, School Counselor (last names A-K) or Ms. Shatzer, School Counselor (last names L-Z).

Hello ,Teachers and Staff,
This is Ms. Coleman, your PBIS Fundraiser Coordinator! 🎉

You should have received your fundraiser packets to distribute to your advisory classes. On Monday, October 5th, please make sure your students receive their packets and have an opportunity to review all of the fundraiser information.
A few important things to remember:
📌 Students need to register online to participate. There are also some small prizes available just for registering!
📌 All fundraiser packets, order forms, and money are due by Monday, October 26th.
📌 Everything your students and parents need to know about the fundraiser should be included in the packets.
If students or parents have any additional questions, please have them contact me at Colemanks@calvertnet.k12.md.us.
And remember...
🎉 SELL, SELL, SELL! 🎉
Let's make this fundraiser fun and exciting! We will also be having a little friendly competition between advisory classes. The advisory class that raises the most money can win a PIZZA PARTY! 🍕🎉
Let's kick this fundraiser off strong and see what we can accomplish together! Encourage your students, have fun with it, and let's SELL, SELL, SELL! 💰🎄
