Dear HES Caregivers,
A huge thank you to our incredible PTO for bringing the Sky Dome experience to our HES families this week! We're so grateful for the enriching and fun opportunities they support. These events are not only educational, but they also strengthen our community and help every child feel like they belong.
If you’ve ever thought about getting involved with the PTO, now is a perfect time! Your support helps keep these special events going strong.
A quick reminder: Optional Caregiver Input for Placement for the 2025–2026 school year is open until Wednesday, April 23rd. After that date, we won’t be able to consider additional input, so be sure to submit your thoughts before the deadline. Click the button below for the form.
As we head into spring break, I hope your family enjoys a restful and refreshing week. Take some time to pause, play, and recharge. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back on Monday, April 28th.
As always, I’m here to support you and your Sharks. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
My best,
Christie

The ideal hours are 8 am - 1 pm but we have some flexibility. The rate of pay is $19 / hour. Please reach out to Mac Noks at mnoks@monomoy.edu.
A great way to make some extra money and stay on your child's school day schedule. Bus drivers needed for large and small bus transportation. All training is provided by the Collaborative. For more information, please speak with Lisa Stobbart at 508-420-6950

Tuesday, April 29 -- All Shark Meeting RESCHEDULED
Wednesday, April 30 -- Early Release Day 1:20 pm Dismissal
MCAS Schedule
Thank you in advance for avoiding unnecessary absences, tardies, or early dismissals on these testing dates.
Call the Attendance Line If Your Shark Is Absent
Per the handbook, if your child is unable to attend school, please enter the absence in PickUp Patrol and/or call our designated attendance line, 617-848-0115, as early as possible. Soon after arrival, our office staff begins to call the caregivers of absent students if we haven't already heard from them. This is important, as we want to ensure that all students are safe. Your phone message with the reason for the absence is all we need. While an email to the teacher is helpful, it sometimes doesn't make its way to the office staff. Thank you for your help!
