Are you a creative? Do you like to work with your hands? Do you have a genius idea, but don't have the tools, or the technical ability to make it a reality? Or, are you just looking for a new hobby? If so, then Technocopia may be the place for you! Founded in 2013, we are a non-profit maker space looking to supply the space, tools , and training necessary for creation at the highest efficiency. Our equipment includes a full wood shop, metal shop, digital fabrication studio, design studio, computer lab, glass station, textile studio, 3-D printers, and we are only adding more to the space! Come join us Thursday night 6 pm-10pm for our weekly Open Hack event. This serves as a great time to become acquainted with the space, and to see what kind of work is really possible at Technocopia. This is our busiest night of the week, so get ready to hang out with a bunch of like-minded individuals, from tons of different backgrounds. No membership required for our Open Hack events.

Looking for something for your kids to do while on April Vacation? Want to not only keep them busy, but also have fun and learn something along the way? Look no further than our school vacation programs. For children ages 6-15, we offer a multitude of engaging classes, combining hands on work, with creativity and problem solving, with the final product being something they can take home at the end of the day! April 16th-April 20th, 2018

Come down to Portland Street this Saturday to get acquainted with one of our most popular tools. With the laser cutter, you are able to engrave different materials such as wood, leather, plastic, and many others. Perfect for saving money on decor for your home, or for making the perfect gift, with your own personal touch! Saturday April 14th, 1pm.

Meet Mike! Mike is one of the co-directors of Technocopia, as well as the head of the metal shop. When not welding away, he can be found cracking jokes around the space, and making sure everything is running smoothly. Don't let the beard scare you, Mike is one of the friendliest guys you'll ever meet! Check out some of his work below.
