Baking Social
Students showed off their amazing baking skills at this year's baking social! Baked goods were rated on appearance, texture, and taste by our panel of judges. Shoutout to all of our judges from each class and guest judges, Mrs. Chandler and Ms. Yoakam! Thank you for taking the time to join us!
Ms. B's Birthday Surprise
After three intense rounds of dessert judging, students surprised Ms. Blackstock for her birthday! Everyone enjoyed delicious vanilla cake and had a great time celebrating together! And to Ms. B, hapy early birthday! We are so lucky to have such a brilliant and loving teacher!
Varun Sinha, a senior violinist, shares his thoughts on Winter Extravaganza!
How did you and your orchestra prepare for Winter Extravaganza?
- In order to prepare for the concert we had in class rehearsals and dress rehearsals on stage so we could prepare to play in front of an audience. I also did individual practice at home to get ready.
What was it like playing pieces with Liberty Band?
- Playing with the band really completes the music and projects our sound more. It was very fun to collaborate with band on our pieces and make the music even better.
What was your favorite part of Winter Extravaganza?
- The start on the second night of Sleigh Ride.
