Principal's Message

TURN BACK TIME!

Dear Croce Families,

Thank you for joining us at our Halloween Parade and the thrilling performance of "Thriller!" It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm from our students and families alike. We are especially proud of our students, who put on an amazing show with their creative costumes, and we'd like to extend a big thank you to our 4th graders for hosting the "Thriller" performance. They practiced hard, and students in all participating classes did wonderful—thank you!

Important Reminder: There is no school tomorrow, Friday, November 1st. Enjoy the extra day!

Here are a few other important dates to remember in November:

November 3: Daylight Saving Time Ends - Remember to "Fall Back" by setting your clocks back an hour!
November 5: Picture Re-Take Day - For anyone who missed the original photo day or would like a re-take.
November 7: Bike Repair Clinic, 3:00-5:00 PM - Bring your bike by for repairs like flat tires, chain adjustments, and more! This is a great opportunity to get your bike ready for safer rides.
November 11: Veteran’s Day - NO SCHOOL - We honor our veterans and thank them for their service.

“Escribo en Español” Essay Contest (Essay Submission deadline is February 28, 2025): The Education Office of the Consulate General of Spain and the California Department of Education would like to invite all California students to participate in the 2024–2025 “Escribo en Español” writing contest. “Escribo en Español” encourages students in grades three through grade twelve to further their Spanish writing skills by providing awards for the best prose and poetry. The theme for this year’s contest is “El planeta en peligro." All the necessary documents to participate can be found here.
